A network that gives members an opportunity to influence program policies


An adult education network that links members with institutions, agencies, and businesses that invest in life-long learning


A legislative network that provides information about adult education issues


A national network through COABE, Commission on Adult Basic Education


A voice in Networks, the West Virginia adult education newsletter, which provides a public forum for views and ideas

To give leadership to the development of adult education within West Virginia
To improve the quality of education for adult students
To unify indicifuals and groups concerned with adult education
To publicize new techniques and methods taht facilitate adult learning

Active membership $20
BOLT membership $10
Associate membership $12

5. What do the different membership categories mean?



Active members are entitled to all privileges of WVAEA, Inc. membership including the right to vote and hold office in the WVAEA, Inc.




BOLT (Building Opportunities for Learning Together) members are entitled to all privileges of WVAEA, Inc. membership except the right to vote and hold office. BOLT members are entitled to vote and hold office within the BOLT affiliate of the WVAEA, Inc.


Associate members are entitled to all privileges of WVAEA, Inc. membership except the right to vote and hold office.


Group members are entitled to all privileges of WVAEA, Inc. membership except the right to vote and hold office.
