Google Search Console

If you’re just getting started understanding the health of your site, Google Search Console (GSC) is an essential (free!) tool. Reports within GSC can help you measure your site’s traffic and performance, fix issues, and make it shine in search results.

Ahrefs

Similar to Google Search Console, Ahrefs is a paid tool we use to give us critical and in-depth insights into Pinch of Yum’s traffic and rank. It’s a powerful tool, but is also incredibly simple to use as you’re just beginning to understand more about your audience and SEO. You can track your ranked keywords, do new keyword research, get insights into what your competitors are doing, see all your backlinks in one place, and so much more.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is an incredible resource for tracking web traffic. We’re able to track our traffic metrics to help inform decisions on channel performance, content to optimize and how our traffic has changed over time.

Topic

Topic is an AI-powered SEO tool that’s available through our ad network, Raptive (formerly AdThrive). We reference Topic for customized content ideas and to help us improve our existing content to make it even more relevant for readers.
